The Bluegrass Youth Rodeo Association supports youth rodeos in Central Kentucky by providing a fun, competitive season and welcoming newcomers to the sport. We're dedicated to raising bold, resilient kids and building a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Rodeo events for boys and girls of all ages—from pre-kindergarten to high school—built to challenge, teach, and inspire.
Bluegrass Youth Rodeo Association offers rodeo competitions tailored for kids from pre-kindergarten through high school. Our first-year events include fun and challenging activities for every age group—pre-kindergarten and kindergarten kids can enjoy dummy roping, barrels and poles, and goat flanking, while elementary ,middle school, and highschool participants can take part in mutton busting, goat flanking and tying, barrel racing, and more.
No matter your age or experience, BGYRA has events designed to welcome and challenge every young rodeo athlete.
